What to Expect at Small Business Marketing Unleashed
Maybe you've been following the buzz on Twitter. Maybe you ran across a blog post from someone who attended the first show. Maybe one of us spoke to you personally. No matter how you heard about Small Business Marketing Unleashed, you wouldn't have clicked through to this page if you weren't hoping to learn a little bit more about what to expect.
On day one, you'll have your choice of two sessions in each of the five time slots. One set of sessions will focus on search engine marketing while the other set focuses on more general online marketing. You'll hear one expert (rather than a panel) speaking for a full hour. That gives them plenty of time to dive deep into their topic and gives you plenty of time to ask questions. The day one sessions will also help you get an idea of what topics you want to learn more about, so you head to the best workshops for YOU on day two.
Our workshops were specifically designed for small business and people who are new to online marketing. We set you up with information on day one, but we actually start walking you through the steps in the workshops on day two. Class sizes are limited to 25, so you'll have plenty of time to interact, ask questions and learn. In many of our workshops, the speaker will actually lead you through the process of working on your campaign right then and there. Each and every workshop also includes a set of worksheets (included on your Flash drive) you can take home and use over and over again as you work on expanding your marketing campaigns.
Our speakers are the heart and soul of our show. Speakers don't apply to be part of our conference, they have to be invited. Jennifer's been traveling on the speaking circuit for more than six years now and is always keeping her eyes peeled for the "kindred spirits" that excel not only in marketing, but in their ability to explain things and their willingness to interact with attendees. You won't find our speakers sitting together in the speaker room, you'll see them in the audience and talking to attendees during the breaks.
When we created the first Small Business Marketing Unleashed conference, we thought it was important to give people ways to mingle and make friends. What we didn't realize was how important networking would be to our attendees. While we heard rave reviews about our speakers and content, it was the networking that turned people into evangelists. You won't find flashy parties or deafening dance mixes, but you will find great food, good drinks and an open environment filled with friendly people just like you. Even the wallflowers came out at the last show. Why just go home with knowledge when you can also go home with new contacts and life-long friends?
